Question: Do I have to stay with my child during All Sport One Day?
Answer: Yes, you will want to see your child experience the sport. It is also an opportunity for parents to connect with the instructors and volunteers from the sport organizations to learn about future programming opportunities for your child.
Question: Can I drop off my child? Is it a day camp?
Answer: No, it is not a day camp. You are responsible for taking your child from the first activity to the second activity. All Sport One Day is an opportunity for parents to learn about new sport and connect with sport organizations in your area offering programming for children.
Question: What time should I arrive at the facility?
Answer: Arrive at least 30 minutes before the activity session begins to ensure you have time to check in at the registration desk, pick up the t-shirt and name tag and find the location of where the activity is scheduled to take place. Please allow extra time if your activity requires specialized equipment.
Question: Where do I go when I arrive at the facility?
Answer: Go to the registration desk. Look for signage at the facilities to direct you to the right location.
Question: Why are there several age categories (6-8, 8-12 and 9-12)?
Answer: Some activities are only offered to specific ages, depending on the physical and the coordination skills that are needed to participate. Some activities are divided into a 6-8 year category, 8-12 year category and 9-12 year category, in order to provide a better experience for the children. Please ensure you are choosing the correct age category when you choose an activity for your child.
Question: Is the equipment provided?
Answer: Yes, but you may bring your own equipment if you prefer. Bathing suits and towels are not provided for children entering the Water Polo sessions.
Question: What should my child bring?
Answer: We recommend bringing a lunch as there may not be time to purchase lunch outside the facility as some locations do not have restaurant in their facilities. For indoor activities, a water bottle is suggested. For outdoor activities, a water bottle, jacket, hat, sunscreen and insect repellent are recommended.
Question: What should my child wear?
Answer: For most activities, running shoes and sport clothing (shorts and sweat pants) are appropriate. For outdoor activities, a hat and sun screen are recommended. Please dress for the weather.
Question: What if the weather is bad?
Answer: Outdoor activities will only run in fair weather. Bad weather will result in the cancellation of outdoor activities. Sometimes activities can be rescheduled to an inside location, so please check our website for the most current information or call the facility. Unfortunately, we are unable to reschedule your child if the activity is cancelled due to the weather or any other unforeseen circumstance.

Question: Do I need to revisit my profile if my children participated last year?
Answer: Yes. Login using your user name and password by clicking on 'login' at the top right corner of the www.AllSportOneDay.ca home page. Next click on 'profile'. Update your Emergency Contact Information located in the middle of your profile page. See the bottom of your profile page to approve/decline the Photo Waiver. If you wish to view the Photo Waiver, there is a link on the home page.
Question: How long is an activity session? And are they all the same length?
Answer: Activity sessions are 45 minutes in length. Activities such as Mountain Biking and Ski Jumping at Canada Olympic Park are 105 minute sessions because it requires more time for the equipment.
Question: Can I register my child in two different facilities?
Answer: No, please pick a facility that offers two activities that are of interest to your child.
Question: Can I register my child for more than two activities?
Answer: Online registration limits participants to 2 activities each to allow more children to take part. Event day registration in a third activity is possible if there is space. Please see the registration desk a maximum of 15 minutes prior to the scheduled activity start time to express your interest.
Question: Can I register on-site?
Answer: Online registration is recommended to avoid disappointment. A very limited number of spaces may be available on-site on the event day, but we recommend online registration to get the activities that you would like. If you wait until the event day to register on-site, there is a smaller chance that there will be openings in the activity you prefer.
Question: Can my child bring friends?
Answer: Yes, but all friends must be registered and have completed all online forms with their parents/guardian.
Question: Where do I find the address to the facility my child is participating at?
